NOZ
Hi all, I am going to wall mount my RS-7's, but before I do I'd like to hear all your expert opinions. Is there any chance of getting vibration noise from them touching the wall? If any one has done this, any tips would be appreciated. thanks Sean ------------------ NOZ SYSTEM Fronts: Klipsch RF-7's Center: Klipsch RC-7 Rears: Klipsch RS-7's Projector: Infocus LP350 Screen: Draper Premier 96" x 72" TV: Toshiba 37" DVD: Toshiba SD 3107 Receiver: Harman Kardon AVR 7000 CD: Sony CDP CX250 EQ: Harmon Kardon EQ-8 Sub: Velodyne V-1012-B Spare/Back-Up: La Scalas
cluless
Mine are literally hanging by one screw, and I forgot to put the feet on them, and no vibration. Once I get them properly mounted (I need help to do this) they will fit very tightly against the wall (I had SS-1s before - considerably smaller, but same mount). If possible mount at a wall stud. NOZ
Any height recomended? My HK manual says anywhere from 6" off the ceiling and at least 24" above listening level. ------------------ NOZ SYSTEM Fronts: Klipsch RF-7's Center: Klipsch RC-7 Rears: Klipsch RS-7's Projector: Infocus LP350 Screen: Draper Premier 96" x 72" TV: Toshiba 37" DVD: Toshiba SD 3107 Receiver: Harman Kardon AVR 7000 CD: Sony CDP CX250 EQ: Harmon Kardon EQ-8 Sub: Velodyne V-1012-B Spare/Back-Up: La Scalas
Soundthought
Hi NOZ, I have my 4 RS7s set up at slightly different heights and distances than my manual suggests. I found the experimenting was the best solution to compensate for poor room acoustics. My book says: Install screws 5'7" off the floor. With a minimum distance of 1.75ft from the ceiling.
