Mr._bowtie
I got a nice set of ksp400s about a month ago or so and I have since blown a midrange driver in one of them. Not really sure how as I'm not a turn it to 11 kind of listener but it happened all the same. My question is where can I buy a replacement k-1058-kb driver for it? Also could something be out of line with the speakers? When it happened they were powered by a carver m1.5t amp. Anyways looking forward to input and advice! Thanks. T2K
This site shows the mid-range to be a K-1057-KB. Check ebuoy. You might post in the Home Theatre section for better response regarding these speakers. Keith
Mr._bowtie
Great. Thanks for the help. Can't find any k-1057-kb. Only k-1057-k. Don't know the difference.
T2K
Great. Thanks for the help. Can't find any k-1057-kb. Only k-1057-k. Don't know the difference. I just actually thought about that. Site shows 'B', should be 'V' for video shielded. K-1057-KV Keith
T2K
Make the guy in Canada an offer. Calculate shipping to you and deduct that from his $65 price, so total to you is $65. Or less if you feel greedy or whatever your value. It's your money. Keith
Mr._bowtie
Do you know what the "b" stands for. Seems like there are k,kb, and kv.
Mr._bowtie
And I took my blown one out. It is a kb not a kv
T2K
I dug out old Klipsch literature from 1998 and the mid-bass driver listed for a KSP-400 is a K-1057-KB, as is listed on this site. The K-1057-KV is for the center channel KSP-C6. I'm not sure if there is a difference other than the magnetic shielding of the KV driver. You might ask a seller for clarification on the suffix before buying. Keith
Mr._bowtie
Thanks for the effort on it! I've tried callin klipsch and haven't gotten through. I can't find the difference between the kv, the kb, and just the k versions of the k-1057 driver
longdrive03
Bowtie, check you PM. I've got some K-1057KV. May have a B model. I'll check and see. I ran the specs on these at one time and may still have them.
