deafbykhorns
What do you think, this is a quick Sim of something I had in mind
erik2A3
Is this your design? I, as are a few others on the forum, am used to working with high B+ voltages in tubes amps, but....I don't know....anode voltages of over 1K VDC necessitate even greater caution -- as I'm sure you know if this is your circuit. Dave Cawley
The 211 does not have a cathode ?
mike stehr
No it doesn't. Maybe the simulation doesn't allow the use of a filament for cathode in the schematic images...I dunno... It must be...'cause 801's don't have cathodes either. http://www.mif.pg.gda.pl/homepages/frank/sheets/049/2/211.pdf What sort of interstage transformer are you going to use? erik2A3
Where are you NOT seeing a 211 cathode? It does have a cathode -- it's called the filament. Edited November 19, 2014 by erik2A3
