I also found the below paragraph regarding front heights in the document you linked above. Almost seems like they're trying to steer people away from front heights without coming right out and saying it. Front height mounted speakers Most AVRs will support the use of front height (Dolby® Pro Logic® IIz) mounted speakers with Dolby Atmos playback; however, Dolby recommends the use of either overhead or Dolby Atmos enabled speakers to create the most lifelike and enveloping audio experience.
