willland Posted March 4, 2015 Share Posted March 4, 2015 Nothing against Pioneer, but if it has to be a receiver, and it has to have HDMI, I'd look at some NAD receivers. Very neutral, powerful and wonderful with music. Nothing will replace tube amps, and unless you're willing to spend a lot of money, NAD receivers are hard to beat sound wise. I have an older T763 that sounds so nice with my Heresys, or anything else really. I can't disagree with this at all. I am more than very pleased with the sound quality of my NAD T175HD pre/pro for music and HT, as well as my older flagship NAD T773 AVR with my Heresys. Bill sent a pm PM replied to.
