totalcomfort
I have a couple of these that I am going to try and put in a THT.Can not find specs on these drivers to see if they will work in Bills' design. jason str
The K-33-E will work. The K-33-E is the only driver used in the cornwall that will work with the THT. Don't get a big amp to push it, you wont need it as the THT is very efficient and the K-33-E is not a powerhouse driver. A 70-100 watt plate amp is plenty. totalcomfort
Thanks, going to order the plans. I have built a autotuba and was very impressed. Want to try this one for the HT.
jason str
Forgot about the different K-33-E drivers. Make sure you have the round magnet K-33-E, i think the T-S parameters are way off for the square magnet version if i recall.
mustang guy
Jason, I have older plans, but have the parameters changed for the THT since this? clip from instructions: "T/S specs are fs 20 to 30Hz, Qts .3 to .5, Vas 100 to 300L, xmax 10mm minimum" If not, then none of the K-33's meet those criteria. Not even the Crites. Edited March 16, 2015 by mustang guy
