Kowalski Posted March 17, 2015 Share Posted March 17, 2015 i was considering adding a kg sw to my office setup since I'm using 2 kg 1.2s as the mains speakers. I'm not quite sure how to power it though? I'm using a JVC 817rx as the receiver. Do I run the mains speaker cable to the sub then out to the kg1.2s? Frzninvt Posted March 17, 2015 Share Posted March 17, 2015 The receiver will be sufficient. The sub should have passive crossover that limit the low end of the KG 1.2's that you connect to it. If that does not sound good. Hook the 1.2's to A output and the sub to the B output on the JVC so you can turn off the sub if you so choose. This will also allow the 1.2's to run full range.
