Dban1
I am thinking about building a sub for HT/Audio use and have ruled out a sonotube type due to WAF. At this point I am considering building around Adire's Shiva driver. They have a vented design that they call a 142.5l (apx 5 cubic feet) with a 4 inch flare port 12 inches long and a downfiring driver. I would be very interested to know if any one has ever built this design (or one similar) and what they thought of it, or any other thoughts anyone would have on it. Dustin B
Do a search on HTF in the Advanced DIY section. Many people have built it, and many people have been very impressed with it. If WAF is a bit of problem take a look at what this guy did (by the way it's a 214L vented Tempest). I've built a Dayton DVC12" equivalent for a friend and my parents. An EBS Shiva won't disappoint.
