This was the 1st generation receiver to be able to decode audio from HDMI, and is HDCP compliant! I have the original remoteS(came with a regular and a touchscreen remote, since Denon knew the touchscreen would tick off too many people lol), calibration mic, manual and original box is MIA. So anything short of Atmos, this thing will still handle no problem(never tried 3D passthrough, don't know if that would work), just have your Blu Ray players decode the next generation audio.
