Scrappydue
Do you not have walls to hang them on?
ajgale1975
I do not, my back wall is open to the dining room. So I will need two stands to put behind the couch. Was thinking the Sanus NF24 or 31 or 36s. Not sure how high I should place them. At least I think those stands can support them.
Scrappydue
Rs are designed to be on the sides of your listening spot. If I remember you have side walls? If so no stands necessary. Hang em on a drywall screw 2 feet above listening position and your golden.
ajgale1975
Unfortunately, I cannot use side walls either. One of the walls is vastly covered by a stone fire place and the other is a stairwell down. This leaves me with my only option of stands So, that being said, any recommendations? Scrappydue
nope. sorry. never owned a single speaker stand in my life. BUT if i were gonna buy some i would look VTI stands. i like the look of their stuff. but also maybe i only ever look at them cause they hold alot of weight? http://www.wayfair.com/VTI-Speaker-Stands-C469932.html
ajgale1975
Good call Scrappy, think I might go with the VTI RF series 24 inch. That would put the speakers at eat level. Edited January 17, 2016 by ajgale1975
