A1UC
This is my second pair of Harbeth's , I'm really liking the Harbeth's signature sound . The HL5 was my first pair which I sold , this second pair is the C7ES-3 with a Rel B3 Sub . I hate subs with 2 ch but this Rel is an exception it blends perfect . I was looking at the Harbeth 40.2 last night and this morning but I really don't think I need them . Im going to run these for a few days then put back my Joseph Perspectives and decide I still need to adjust the toe and get sub in corner more Edited January 20, 2016 by A1UC

A1UC
Harbeth speakers are very natural sounding laid back , http://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/harbeth-7es-3-vs-klipsch-heresy-iii.492843/ Edited January 20, 2016 by A1UC
Don Richard
I would say Harbeth's are examples of the BBC school of loudspeaker design. They aren't very sensitive, won't play well in a large room, and will need to be carefully set up for best results. In a small room they can be very good.
