Klipsch-daddy
I was fooling around with my settings on my rxv-800 tonight and found out that the main setting on the lfe sounds the best. Question is how will this affect my subwoofer and what do I need to set the hz to now.? ------------------ Home Theater: Yamaha RX-V1000 Klipsch RF-3's Klipsch KSC-C1(LOOKING FOR A RC-3 OR RC-3II) Kenwood KSV64 Bipolar Speakers Klipsch Subwoofer KSW-12 Television: TOSHIBA THEATER VIEW 50" DVD Player SONY S-360 CD Changer CDC 585 5 Disc Yamaha Harman Kardon TC-1000 monster cable interconnects/12 gauge speaker wire
Niceguy2
Klipsch daddy I have an RX-V1 Yamaha, when you set the swfr setting to main on the reciever, you won't get anything out of the sub. I keep mine set on both, that way I really get the boom on the bass, and it doesn't tax the mains as much. As far as the crossover hz, that is a matter of taste, I keep mine around 90. ------------------ My System: Mitsubishi 65908 Yamaha RX-V1 Panasonic DMRE30 DVD RAM Pioneer CLD3080 Chorus II (Main) Academy (Center) Forte' II (Rear) RCA Lineaum(Center Rear/front effects) Yamaha M-80 RCA right/left sub

Before I really could not hear it on the sat. only on dvds. Man it crazy what you have to do to get a good sound. ------------------ Home Theater: Yamaha RX-V1000 Klipsch RF-3's Klipsch KSC-C1(LOOKING FOR A RC-3 OR RC-3II) Kenwood KSV64 Bipolar Speakers Klipsch Subwoofer KSW-12 Television: TOSHIBA THEATER VIEW 50" DVD Player SONY S-360 CD Changer CDC 585 5 Disc Yamaha Harman Kardon TC-1000 monster cable interconnects/12 gauge speaker wire
