Which one, the rear or the front? Rear is active, front is passive in asealed enclosure, so when the rear goes on excursion, the front goes on incursion Smile.gif

No, it goes in, I cranked it and set it on its side, and the woofer bottoms out *inward* as in sucks in about an inch. No outward motion. I tried reversing the phase both with the switch and internally.

maybe a servo deffect. sounds like it's not reversing the current. the way an amp works is the red cord pushes the cone out, and the black pulls it in (could be the other wya around, can't remember). could be that a section of the amp was damaged, or you hooked it up wrong.
