Greek
I am trying to get a deep full-bodied sound from my sub without that "boomy" sound playing cds and dvds. On my Denon 4802, i changed and adjusted the crossover freq. to 60Hz... and set the fronts to "Large"....and subwoofer mode to "LFE-THX". Before, I had Cross Freq. set to "Fixed-THX".....front speakers to "small". Subwoofer mode remained the same. Are my settings appropriate? I believe it may sound better now. The damn Denon manual is difficult for me to follow. I need some feedback/input please. TheEAR
Denon's receiver setup menu is very easy, just browse thru the menu.Yes the 60Hz cutoff should be fine.Keep all speakers on the "small" setting. A sub starting to work from 60Hz down will not be boomy, and the RSW10 is very clean sounding. No nasty port noise or cabinet resonance to be heard. Your setting should be A ok TheEAR(s) Now theears
