SteveDeBeave
I listened to the following system and loved it; SP-1's, SS-1 and SC-1. Can I add a KSW-12 to this system? Is there any problems with wiring it up as I know that the SP-1's have a powered woofer? Maybe I should be looking at different mains? Thanks, Steve
boa12
yea I think u have the right reservations. u may want to try listening to the sf-2 & a bigger sub, like the ksw-15. i'd listen w/ a the sub before u seal a deal on anything. ------------------ RF-3 (front), RC-3, Cornwall I (rear) Velodyne HGS-18 sub Monsterbass 400 sub interconnects & Monster Z-12 cable Sony de935 a/v receiver Sony DVP-C650D dvdp Sony Trinitron 27" tv Technics dual cassette deck Technics direct drive turntable Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2000 digital cable box rock on! Foost
Take a side-by-side listen to the sp1's and a couple others without a woofer built in. A built in woofer can cause problems with overall sound quality. I have been told by several dealers that they hate the sound of the sp1s. Just make sure you listen to everything as it boils down to personal preference.
