jfjacques
Anyone have a pair kicking around from an upgrade and willing to ship to Maine for reasonable price. They are for living room so condition is important too. THanks for consideration of my request. James
jfjacques
Would also consider RS25 trying to keep cost down but find something that works reasonably well with the forte fronts and academy center. Currently have RS-41 which are not bad but something nearer the efficiency of the others would make it more balanced just need a touch more out of the surrounds. Thanks! jfjacques
SCORE! Found a near mint pair of RS-3ii within an hour of home on CL for $200 - they are on the wall and what a nice upgrade from the RS-41 - much more balanced with the Forte's in the front.
tanthuyhoangde
I consider buying a pair of RS 3 as well. But how is it different from RS 62 ii with 2 woofers pointing at different directions?Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk My take is that it should pretty much function the same with a tad stronger bass. Surround are usually XO at 80 or lower and the bass should be omnidirectional unless you are right up on the speaker. You don't really need surrounds making a lot of bass if a subwoofer is in the system. I have 6 1/2 in. surrounds and 5 1/2 in. surround backs paired with sub and they are more than adequate.
