zandern
A co-worker of mine was interested in getting wireless speakers for his home. He wants to have his mains on speaker A and then some wireless speakers in a different room for music up in his cathedral ceiling on speaker B. Is this possible or is he going to have to switch them around? Don't you have to run wireless speakers threw the pre-amp? I don't know thing about them. He was wondering if they sound good or if being wireless the quality really goes down. Also what do you guys recommend. He was looking at about $150 for a pair, or is that way to cheap? Thanks for any input. ------------------ 27" 3 line digital comb filter JVC TV Denon AVR-2802 Receiver Denon CDM-270 CD Player Aiwa DVD Player (sucks) Klipsch RF3-II's Fronts Klipsch RC3-II Center Infinity HPS-250 Subwoofer Yamaha ??? surrounds 69"X76" Hand made oak entertainment center. dougdrake
I imagine these will need to have power going to them, to power the receiver part of the wireless speakers, right? Or are they battery driven? Does he have to run power up to the ceiling? If so, maybe it's just as easy to run speaker wires instead and avoid the potential pitfalls of wireless (interference, signal quality, etc...). zandern
From what I have heard wireless speakers can go on batteries or have direct plug ins. He doesn't want to plug them in directly because of the cathedral ceiling, thats why he wants wireless too, because it would be really hard to do it. ------------------ 27" 3 line digital comb filter JVC TV Denon AVR-2802 Receiver Denon CDM-270 CD Player Aiwa DVD Player (sucks) Klipsch RF3-II's Fronts Klipsch RC3-II Center Infinity HPS-250 Subwoofer Yamaha ??? surrounds 69"X76" Hand made oak entertainment center.
