D. Ryan
I have a few older but very strong receivers laying around. I was think I g of using the pre outs on my new avr to get the stereo 2 channel power off the older amp. Will not having main left right hooked up hurt my new avr? willland
If you mean using your LF and RF preouts to hook to a stereo amplifier and on to your LF/RF then no not at all. With this method you should get better separation, power, and dynamics for your fronts as well as more AVR power to your remaining speakers. D. Ryan
Thanks Bill that was the answer I was looking for. I was worried not having fl-fr wired up would burn something up.
