cmuajp
I know that we have talked about humming before but this is a new type of problem. I fixed the humming the first time with the cheater and now it is back. I just added my computer to the DD (before it was just my dvd player and cable). My computer is in anoter room so I ran 30ft of high quality cable to it. Now it hums when I switch to the computer input. It is different than the general humming that most have in the fact that it only happens when I switch to that input as opposed to all the time. Does anyone know how to fix this problem. Thanks guys! EchoWars
Electrical connections are always going to be problematic when run from a devices plugged into different outlets. I'd suggest a coaxial-to-optical converter, which will de-couple the ground and end your problem.
