GooseChaser Posted October 1, 2002 Share Posted October 1, 2002 I looked over the net and it is still not entirely clear to me as to why Audigy Platinum can't decode Dolby Digital / DTS or whatever. on my DVD player I turned it on and it plays just fine so what's up? I want to but I can't get DD-5.1 because I can't buy anything online so I am considering this Sony reciever but then again I don't wanna buy a reciever I have no use for except to Decode PS2 to my PM 5.1 and with this reciever I can have my audigy pump out digital sound and hook that output, whatever it is, to the reciever, then to PM 5.1 right?
