Klipsh heresy II compatible autotrasformer

Hello to all.
I have klipsh heresy 2, to which I rebuilt the crossover with better components: As you well know the auto-transformer of heresy 2 has no other attenuation levels and wanting to reduce by a few dB the mid horn, I was wondering if I can use the t2a autotransformer that I am at home, with the exit -12dB.
Can I use it or are the impedance values different and can they change the crossover frequency? .........

It will change the crossover points and you will have to adjust the woofer low-pass and squawker high-pass components to account for it.

For just 2 dB, I'd try L-pads on the squawker and tweeter to see if you liked the change before changing the autoformer.

Wow, -12dB on the squaker. You must hate it.
