Woofer rattle

Here is a new one on me. Had a pair of Fortes which would have a slight buzz at times and could not find anything. It turns out that what happened was the screen on the vent had worked loose and was rattling around behind the dust cover. So adding to the list of problems to check for when I get speakers I guess. Take the woofers out and shake them for shake and rattle before rolling with them. It is amazing to me how such small things as this and a screw accidently picked up by a woofer magnet can cause enough buzz at certain frequencies loud enough to be audible and irritating.
