Egriff22
I have a definitive technology prosub800 and the Klipsch Quintet III 5.0 speakers. My question is do I wire the front right & left to the sub or to the receiver. These are the best speakers i have ever owned any advice would be very helpful. Also could use some pointers with crossover frequencies, and setting to get the best sound. Thank you Edited January 4, 2019 by Egriff22
Moderators dtel Posted January 6, 2019 Moderators Share Posted January 6, 2019 Welcome Connect all 5 Quintet's to the receiver and the sub to the sub output. Not sure of the Quintet's lowest frequency, look in your book or online, set the sub just below what the Quintet's will play down to. Went and looked it up.....Quintet lll, FREQUENCY RESPONSE Satellite: " 120Hz-23kHz Center: 125Hz-23kHz" I would set the sub somewhere around 100 to 115 whatever sounds best to you. Not the 3 models but I had some Quintets before, 2 model I think it was, they are very surprising what they can do especially for the size, very nice with a sub.
