REL Quake

Ears et all,

Has anyone had any experience with the REL Quake?

I have the sunfire MKII which I am selling since

I am moving my HT to a dedicated room which is

smaller than my den AND my wife does not like the

"little black box". The Quake is small AND it comes

in several wood veneers.

BTW you can see all that I am selling for the move

under the Home Theater section.

The REL Quake is a fine little sub if you are not asking for window shaking sub bass but want more quality and musicality over sheer output.

I did not try the Quake at home, but I did test over and again the Q200E.I think of this sub as a Sunfire with better quality finish and a good deal more finesse.Clean and defined sub bass is all what REL is about.Plus as you said the good looking finish to boot.

But the real REL's are the Stadium,Stentor II and the awesome Studio II.SImply put some of the best subs on the planet, expensive they are.Worth it YES if money is plenty.

So yes you will be satisfied with REL

Thanks Boa, Justin, Ears!!

I appreciate the replies. Long time no post!

I do not need a bunch of SPL in the room I am moving the

HT to but I do want it to be good tight bass in a small package like my Sunfire but in a more attractive package

so my wife will be happy(isn't that what it is all about!).

That is why I thought of the REL Quake. I would consider the RSW 10 but they do not make it in anything but

black.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
