My question is with price being a factor would there be much of a difference going with the RB-51 ii books over the 61's? The 61's are hard to find new and are $329pr while the 51's I can get for $219. If using a sub is there really any difference? Also I know the 51's are rear ported vs front. willland Posted March 28, 2019 Share Posted March 28, 2019 I say yes. The RB-51iis are decent for their size but the 61IIs punch way above their weight class. Also with the RB-61iis being front ported, placement flexibility is a bonus. I also think their will be potential for a smoother hand off from speakers to subwoofer.
