toddvj Posted November 6, 2002 Share Posted November 6, 2002 Just picked up the Band of Brothers Set Yesterday, and all I can say is WOW! It is an excellent story plus the set is very cool. But when I popped in the first disc, the picture and sound quality blew me away!! I watched this series on HBO in High Definition, and I think this DVD looks every bit as good, if you can believe that. Also, it has DTS sound, which you couldn't get on the HBO broadcast, a definite plus. I'd give the highest recommendation to anyone thinking about picking it up. It is well worth the $80.00 investment. I have already watched the series twice on TV, and will probably watch it a few more times in the coming years, so I don't think it is something you'll buy and just watch once.
