Q-Man
I want to use RG6 quad shielded coax cable with "F" crimp connectors. I've been to four stores that sell it and on a few on line supliers. Not one of them can tell me if I slould keep the outer braid from contacting the inner braid that is connected to the "F" connector. This looks like it would be difficult to do, so I'm quessing that both braids should connect to the "F" connector. Does this make sense? justin_tx_16
did you get the nicer Ftype crimping/cutting pliers? (plyers... spelling) it really makes a difference. before i used the more expensive ones, it would crack the Ftype plugs, or not get tight enough. get some heavy duty Ftype crimpers from home depot.
