Jay2020
My new Klipsch r28pf speakers keep turning off on their own every 15-20 minutes. What could be the problem. I just unboxed them and am currently using them with the 3.5 mm cord and they are hooked up to my TV. Even in Bluetooth mode they do this
Jay2020
I used the optical cord and it fixed the problem 😂😂😂
Jay2020
Now the optical cord makes really loud static noise and it's doing the same thing with the aux cord it keeps shutting off.

Service Prowis
Same problem. shuts off by itself using aux input. Anyone find a fix yet?
dizzoknows
Also having this issue. I switched it to “installer mode” via a comment from another thread. This apparently disables the auto-standby mode, but seems to also disable volume control via the remote. Not an ideal solution.
GarthW
I’m having the same issue. Just purchased them a couple days ago..Any new information regarding the intermittent shutdown?
ernieandbert
Same here and found the others with issue with this model on many other boards. 15 - 20 minutes using the aux port as an input and it shuts off. Tried other cables and input devices. Come on Klipsch - It is obviously a problem! Do you even monitor these boards??!!! If I cannot resolve then this is the last Klipsch purchase I will ever make and recommend to others the same!
HumbleorHumbled
$650 us for this system and I'm going to chase the problem from the Manufacturer, Another site posted this link as a would be solution except it doesn't mention which mode eliminates the powering down.
