hilandbren
I was in Best Buy yesterday looking at speaker wire and saw an interesting-looking kit from Acoustic Research for $20. It consists of 50' of 16 guage wire, plus eight gold-plated pins. The pins are the twist-on variety so you dont need to solder or crimp them. I am thinking about rewiring my new 4.1s with this as it is waay cheaper then buying the Monster upgrade kit, and would not challange me technically. Anyone ever used one of these kits? Big Sheesh
Yeah, I bought them before! I wasn't able to get the wires through to the golf plated mini plug ends though. The plastic, rubber tubing is too thick to fit into the mini plugs! Now they're just collecting dust!
b_schulz
what's the monster upgrade kit....is there one for the promedia 4.1's??? nevermind I found it...seems a bit pricey though. Anyone used it...does it help a lot?
justin_tx_16
make your own at my site, www.soundwise.org click the mods section. you can do it for about 1/2 the price w/o the end clips which you don't really need. they are expensive!
