frt8dog
Hi folks. I posted this in the home theater section but I thought I'd try here also, since it deals with heritage speakers. Anyone out there have experience with B & K components and heritage speakers? I understand they have a "warm" sound...I'm looking for amplification to tame the harshness/brightness in these old gems. (Cornwall (82), Heresy (81)) I'm presently running 2 channel with tubes and 78 K-horns...just love the sound, but for a home theater I think tubes would not be the way to go. Thanks in advance for any info or opinions. Frt8dog
mace
See my post in this thread. You'll have to scroll down. Overall, I really like my B&K ST2140 (2 channel 140W) with my Cornwalls, even with a less than perfect pre-amp. Mace

mace
No problem. I really am getting a hankerin' for tubes, though... just from reading about how folks just can't get enough of them. Mace
