Most adults are not going to hear a difference. I suggested to mark to record in 16/44 and then upsample like in MQA. I think more people will hear a difference in the noise floor and DR! Edgar Posted September 30, 2020 Share Posted September 30, 2020 There is a truth in signal processing that is drilled endlessly into those of us who study it (I am an engineer and my specialty is signal processing): Interpolation does not increase information. That is to say, if you start with 16/44.1, then no matter what frequency you resample to, no matter how many bits you create in the process, the result will never contain more information than the original 16/44.1 signal.
