Doc Holiday Posted December 3, 2002 Share Posted December 3, 2002 I think everyone has seen the "cute" little satlites that mirage released last year claiming to have a perfect 360 degree sound stage etc.... well has anyone seen the new omni-polar floor speakers, its a floor standing speaker but at the top it has one of those satalites built in. At one time I did own mirage and I actually do miss my old frx set up a little, but my klipch's put them to shame... anyways I just was wondering if anyone else thought they looked as funny as i thought they did... Me and Stephen (from Tweeter) tested them out in a home theater steup... not a good idea. the ability to detect the bullets flying around you were not NEARLY as prevalent as with regular direct speakers. these were the sats, but they should be the same. for music it was, ok. really filled every corner of the room with good sound. but i feel the quality was slightly sacraficed.
