MrZX9R Posted December 4, 2002 Share Posted December 4, 2002 I've been looking around for a while and finally, last night, in Best Buy, saw the remastered DVD of the Blues Brothers. Too bad it was almost $30. Anybody here got it? How is the DVD version and remaster? This might be a good edition to my "movies that I watch when my wife isn't home" like the Reservoir Dogs (new special edition rocks!) and Blackhawk Down. Being an early Universal title, is the reason for being expensive. Most of their titles sold for $35 at the time. It is loaded with bonus materials. Interviews are really good. The soundtrack is only DD 5.1, but really good considering how old the movie is. Picture quality is really good also. If you are a fan of the movie, pick it up.
