Frank Fan
I used Studio Six Digital’s Audio Tools fast Fourier transform function to test the frequency response curve of Klipsch 5.1.2 in the living room today, subwoofer is R100-SW,I hope to evaluate the position of the subwoofers placement. I tried different location, as a result, there all are a peak in the frequency about 63 Hz. Is this the so-called standing wave? Can it be improved if two 12” subwoofers installed? Thanks guys. CECAA850
You can improve that by EQ'ing that particular peak down. Standing waves are normally seen as a null.
