Audio Flynn
I still will not have any money till next year but was thinking about used preamps or integrateds with preouts. Is this Naim thing some stylish European HIFI investment or do they really qualify as quality stuff? There is a guy on Audiogon with an origonal Naitt integrated. I do not even know of a place that carries their line in Michigan. Smells a bit like snake oil to me. Anyone audition one of their components? lynnm
Naim produces high quality components and speakers. I have heard various Naim Audio components and have in every case been impressed by the components but have always felt that one could obtain as good or better for a lot less money. That said there is no "Snake Oil" there. They build very good but IMHO very overpriced equipment. OTOH If you are given the opportunity to acquire Naim equipment used at reasonable prices it is likely a sound investment
