O_JiNG_O
Hi everyone. Well I finally shelled out the 300 bucks to buy the 4.1's today. I do have one problem though. The lead speaker (the one with all the controls) seems to have a loose "object" rattling around inside of it. When I turn it on its side or upside down, I can hear something (be it a component or whatever...) rattling around inside of the casing. Has anyone else had this problem? What exactly is floating around? Will this affect the speaker's performance? I have nothing to compare them to so it's difficult to see if they're working up to their full potential. Thanks a lot guys.
Torinalth
unscrew the case and find out. if the sound is stll top notch then put it in a baggy, tape it to the sub in case anything goes wrong. and just keep going. just take the speaker apart and check. Torinalth ------------------ if at first you don't succede, try again. if at second you don't succede, get an axe
Slaz13
I wouldnt open it by yourself. I would call Amy first. If you open it you might break the warranty.
Dan F
The loose part could be a minor thing, or a major thing. It's best to determine what it is before going on. You can unplug and carefully open the amplifier and locate the loose part. Then, give Amy a call, who can help determine whether the part is a necessary component of the amplifier, or something extraneous. -djf
