Does anyone out there have any experience with these, good or bad? How about any other speaker switching set-ups? I'm using a Denon 3300 and various Klipsch speakers. Thanks.

I too have a Niles SPS-4 and Denon 3300. However, I'm not using the two together. I'm using the SPS-4 with an older Sony AV reciever. What exactly are you wanting to know?

I have the Niles SPS-4 in use and am very happy with it. Just make sure you buy the Niles wall-mounted volume controls for each separate room/location or you will be forced to listen at the "master volume" setting on your receiver or amp. The Niles wall volume controls are excellent and run about $45-50 each.....I use one for my deck, one for my library and one for master bath. Good luck. Nothing but good things to say about Niles products.

I was curious about the general quality of the unit(strange hissing, unusual distortion, etc.). Thanks for your replies, guys, but for some reason I feel like having a martini...

Well...like BLOOMIS914, I too am using the Niles wall mounted volume controls. And in case you're curious, my Niles SPS-4 is used to switch (1) pair of Klipsch in-wall speakers in my bedroom and (2) pairs of Klipsch outdoor speakers.

To date, I've heard no hum or unwanted noise that can be contributed to the Niles SPS-4. Switching speakers on & off produces no loud thumps or pops. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this unit.

As for the martini...well, drinks are on us. smile.gif

No hiss, hum, crackle, pop or unwanted noise from the Niles SPS-4 or wall-mounted volume controls. Excellent products at reasonable prices. Ahhhh....I think I'll go shake up another one!!!!
