Joopndufus
Hey guys, I finally have the money to replace my old soundcard from my media computer (yey for me, eh?). I was using a soundblaster plantinum 5.1 live. This computer is primarily used for DVD's and MP3's but sometimes it is used for gaming. I have the Klipsch 5.1's and the DD-5.1. What soundcard do you guys recommend? (I'm probably just going to buy whatever Justin suggests, heh) Thanks!
justin_tx_16
well with the DD-51 in the mix you just want a card with digital output. since this is a DVD and music setup then you are set as it is. are you using the digital output from the SoundBlaster into the DD-51? That is about as good as it will get for you my friend. Now. If you want to get into DVD-A, which is sa---weeet, then you should look at the Audigy2. But before your eyes melt at its features, let your ears do the math and check out the soon to be released M-Audio Revolution 7.1. I ordered one of these already! $99. Looks VERY promising.
