Moserkm
I'm just getting into home theater and after extensive research, decided to buy these 8000Fs. So here are my questions: Should the bi-amp plate be left in or removed? I have a 7.1 setup being driven by an older Sony STR-DN1010 Receiver. The receiver has 110 watts per channel which leads me to my second question, does this Sony have enough power to drive these speakers? Yes, probably should have asked this prior to purchase. It does sound good, just not sure if I'm getting the best out of my setup.
xo705cf
Yes leave the plates on If you are not biamping…. And yes you have more than enough power to drive them properly…
