iblong
I have (4) Klipsch CDT-5650-C II's and (2) Klipsch RP-500SA's that I need installed A contractor is quoting me 2 to 3 hours a speaker. Including wiring he wants $1000.00. Due to recent unexpected heart bypass, I can't do it myself. Which is a shame....I spent months researching purchases and installations. I bought all the drywall tools, wall plates, etc......I was ready to DIY...GO! Is this contractor's price reasonable? The Dude
If he's running wire and it takes an 8 hour day, $1000 for a day's worth of work Including wiring isn't bad.
tragusa3
I installed all 4 of mine in about 5 hours time, and I'm not a pro. If I had to pay, anything over $500 would seem too high for my taste. Of course, there is also the liability of cutting into someones drywall and having to fix a mistake. That risk alone wouldn't be worth it. Maybe $1k is fair...
