LaScala Industrial Splits Serial Number

Anyone know how to decode the serial numbers on old LaScala split industrials? Specifically, 8732402/3. I read somewhere that maybe only Klipsch HQ would know.

Also, would love to know what components are likely inside (based on time period sourcing) without opening them up. They are tight except for one rubber foot that came off.

thanks for any help.
