Kayce Posted November 10, 2023 Share Posted November 10, 2023 Hi I recently purchased RP-8000f ii and was looking to power it with the S970h Denon amplifier. These are replacing two bookshelf speakers. However, connecting the RPs up to the amp, I don't hear any sound - not even small crackle. Running the speaker setup on Denon does not play any audio from these speakers. I swapped the speakers to see if atleast one of them working but don't hear anything. Replacing the RPs with the old bookshelf, I can hear audio again. I am using a 14-guage speaker wire with banana plugs to connect up the speakers.
