bigge31566
I have a theater system with quintet center and rear speakers but I have Klipsch R-14s as front surround up high and want to know what to set the crossover setting for them. I have the r-14s set at 100 hz, the center channel set at 120, and the rear surround at 120 hz. I am running a Denon AVR receiver, with the r-14s being larger than the quintet trying to see if the setting is right
The History Kid
They should be set to small. 100 Hz is probably okay, but they are not full range speakers at all, and shouldn't be run as if they are. You might also try 120 Hz for them. Not sure how capable they are at lower frequencies with a 4" driver.
