jwp
I own the KLF-20 and the C-7, should I(are does it matter) leave the grills on or off?
Bruinsrme
If you have rugrats or pets I would recommend leaving them on. As little protection they really provide it'a more than leaving them exposed to the elements.
jwp
The reason I ask this question because there was a discussion in audioreview.com's forum about how some speaker manufacture designed the speakers for grills on or off. Some suggested it sounded better with grill off and some said a particular brand was made for grills on because it made the sound smother. Now honestly I don't think it matters but just wandering on what input you Klipsch experts might think.
horonzak
Grills can be acoustic filters if not transparent enough.
michael hurd
Btw, there is no such thing as a dumb question. In response to your question, if you have pets or children, then leaving them on will be a sure choice. Children like to poke all sorts of stuff, especially woofers that " move " when poked. Just my thoughts.
