boomac
I will use Klipsch Quartet Speakers for the front L&R - a kLlipsch RC3 II Center - a Klipsch RSW 10 Sub. For the rear R&L I would like to save space and am considering Klipsch RCW 5s. I have a pair of Klipsch KG 2.5s that I could put on stands and use for the rears. Any thoughts on what would be the plus and minus of either? What would be the best choice for a rear center? Thanks.
speed3
Save money on the rcw-5's, use the kg's for surrounds, go for a different center channel (an Academy, KLF C7, KV 4, or RC-7 in that order) and look at a larger sub. Maybe even look at an SVS sub, more bang for the buck.
anarchist
You want to match the tone and timbre of the center and rear surrounds as closely as possible to the front speakers. With quartets, KG's likely the best choice unless you are willing to go big. Center channel could be an Academy or convert an older speaker to a center channel ala HornEd.
