partfake
Okay, okay. I'm beyond the denial stage now. My Promedia 4.1's are dead! But now what? I'm not going to buy another set of Promedia's, that's for sure. I really like the Quintet micro system - but can I still use my DD5.1 for decoding? Would I need to also purchase a separate preamp or receiver? Or am I better off selling the DD5.1 and purchasing a new receiver/decoder - I'm looking at $1000 or less for a kickin' home theater. Andy W
You can still use your DD-5.1. What you need is a 5-channel power amplifier and a powered sub, like the Klipsch KSW-10 which is a package deal with the Quintets. Use the DD-5.1 just like a preamp processor, just set all the speakers to small. -Andy W
