Johnny dB Posted February 15, 2003 Share Posted February 15, 2003 Here's a list of my new and hopefully improved system. -HH Scott 299 bought on ebay presently being rebuilt and modded by Craig. -Dynaco CDV-1 tube cd player also bought on ebay. -Garrard GT-25AP TT I took your advice Hofy "why just choose one system". So... I'm also waiting for my Foreplay preamp kit (3-4 more weeks). Even though I don't know what I'm going to run with it. While I'm waiting I thought it a good idea to brush-up on my soldering skills and bought the S5 stereo tube kit. I'm really getting into building a cabinet for the S5. Hopefully it'll sound as good as it'll look! I might be in the market for some Cornwalls or the like in the near future. I'll have to save my dimes especially since I spent $300 more than my original $1000 budget. Not to mention the cost of buying some new vinyl. This hobby is gettin' spendy; hope it's worth it.
