frescagod
can i connect either my 2.1 or (if i upgrade) 4.1s to my television's audio inputs? how would i go about doing that? if the 4.1s could and the 2.1s couldn't, i'd definitely buy the 4.1s. do i need a digital decoder or whatever? justin_tx_16
the tv must have audio OUTPUTS.
blade_runner88
You need at least one output, phone jack or rca audio output and the right cable depending of your tv output.
InnovaZero
How would I go about hooking my Promedia subwoofer to my room setup. What connector/convertor would I need and how would it be done? Anyone help me out??
kd5ftn
Here's how I did it: I have a cheap 13" TV.. no audio output I have an old VCR of my grandparents that has stereo RCA's in and out, so I just used the RCA line out and used an RCA-1/8" adapter and plugged it in to the line in of my SB Live! Granted that I don't have klipsch promedia's (yet) I have a cheap $70 laptec set that I just killed (accidently switched polarity going to amp, doh!) But this system works great! InnovaZero
Where would you plug the Promedia's, back of VCR, or the Live? See I have a Live 5.1, and Promedia are in the front and rear ports of course, so if otherwise noted, which line is the VCR going too? Your getting me very interested, cause see I don't have a Video card that can directly go through a TV, so if I can do it this way, I would love to know, cause I got a 27" TV lying around that is much bigger then this 17" computer screen. HannibalLecter
Get a rca to miniplug adapter and plug it into your "line in" on your sound card. easy as that.
