Weiming
Does anybody have the crossover schematic of the original B2 crossover of the Cornwall Is? I am planning on upgrading the components and mounting the crossover externally. Thanks! Weiming.

Weiming
Hi Bob, Err...how do I get Trey's email address? Can't seem to find it under the Inside Klipsch heading. Weiming.

Weiming
Hi Al, Thanks for the schematic! I was planning on building your crossovers, but I have problems obtaining the parts here in Singapore and I am not sure my amps can handle a 4 ohm load. Weiming. Al Klappenberger
Weiming, The woofer is 4 Ohms no matter what crossover you are using. It's just that my network STAYS 4 ohms! Not being able to get the parts is a good excuse though! Al K.
Weiming
Hey Al! Thanks for the clarification! Drats...now I am really tempted to try out your xovers! If I am desperate enough, I guess I could order online, although the shipping cost will probably kill me Do you know of any online store that has all the major components so I can save on shipping? BTW, the B2 xover I have has the T2A correct? Thanks! Weiming.
Klipschguy
Al, Two questions. 1)What is the function of the 20uF cap in the woofer leg of the X-over circuit? 2)What is the function of the 245uH choke in the tweeter leg? Thanks for your input. Klipschguy
Al Klappenberger
Klipschguy, The function of both the components you mentioned are part of a second order filter (two parts). These work together to make a faster roll-off in the response. Weiming, I really don't know of any has all the parts, but there are severl you might look at: I buy my parts direct from Solen of Canada. They will have the coils and caps you need. I duplicated a B2 network once myself and got the parts from them. Al K.
