dd-5.1 clicks and pops when switching modes

I just got my dd5.1 i got a bunch of design issues with it

bad remote control design... too easy to hit reset! among the issues i have with it

skipping the remote, this is the main problem

when i have the decoder taking the optical in from my SONY SAT-A50 dss receiver...

when the channels change from dolby to pcm... just awefull sounds come out, clicks and shuch its breif but unacceptable

worse is when i watch a dvd from the pc, dvd manufacture switch from 5.1 to 2.0 at times when going from menus to the actuall movie, Yucky clicks and such

worse is pc audio, plain old pcm... when browsing in say windows explorer... the cute sound windows xp makes when u switch directories... is so short of click sound... that the dd-51 doesnt actually produce the audio, insted you get the aweful cliks

this all might be related to a muting circit

i think new firmware is inorder!! wooah do i not see a way to upgrade the firmware... gee i hope not..

i think i will unfortunitly have to shop for something else... unless i can get it fixed

i will not live with the annoying clicks when chaning from dolby/dts/pcm

I like the clicks, they let me know from across the room (were I can't see the LCD) that I am indeed switching the inputs...

I suggest that yeah you should go find another product seeing as your basis for condeming the DD-5.1 is based on something so trivial, obviously you don't deserve a Klipsch product. Oh and good luck finding a receiver of the same quality as the DD-5.1 for the same price 16.gif
